An inauspicious day for a wedding

Cheng Gwai-yin, who grew up in a single-parent family, has always had a strained relationship with his bad-tempered mother, whose foul mouth makes their home life unbearable. After a mishap, he travels back in time and finds himself in his father's body on his parents' wedding day. Will Cheng Gwai-yin's prediction come true, and will he have to take his father's place at the wedding?

Shuttling between the past and the present, he discovers that his small actions in the past have set off a chain of even more uncontrollable events in the vast stream of time. As he tries to correct the past, the cracks in reality widen, and those around him undergo drastic changes. On the night of the wedding chamber, faced with the absurd dilemma of wanting to exist in reality, he finds himself between a rock and a hard place: damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. As this harrowing journey comes to an end, will he be able to 'set things right'?
